I chose the word ‘Deed’ deliberately. A deed is not a hope. It is not a spiritual goal or a theological aspiration. A deed is a legal title to property; documentation that a transaction has been completed and that the property belongs to the named holder by right.
That is what the cross produced. Not a promise that healing might be available. A Deed, a completed, legal, irrevocable transaction that gives every believer specific, named title to specific, named blessings. The Deed of Healing and Health is yours. The Deed of Authority and Power is yours. The Deed of Dreams and Visions is yours. The Deed of Language is yours. The Deed of Sonship is yours, not because you earned it, not because your faith has been strong enough, but because the price was paid in full and the title transferred at the moment of your new birth!
Phase One – the Creation Gifts of Genesis 1 and 2 covers eleven Deeds: everything man possessed at the beginning, before the serpent arrived. Phase Two – the serpent’s first attack covers four Deeds: Truth, Counsel, Hearing, and Understanding, the very capacities the enemy targeted first because without them, man could not defend anything else. Phase Three – the act of sin itself covers Faith, Obedience, and Faithfulness. Phase Four – the immediate consequences covers Honour, Holiness, Knowledge of Self, Righteousness, and Love. Phase Five – the curse pronounced covers Victory, Healing and Health, Grace, Justification, and Restoration.
Phase Six through Nine covers the losses that cascaded after expulsion – Citizenship, Prayer, Resurrection, Forgiveness, Redemption, Sanctification, Revelation, Light, Righteousness in Society, Language, and Dreams and Visions. Every phase of the fall is addressed. Every dimension of loss is reversed. Nothing is left unredeemed!
