God never designed His people to live like that!
Over years in ministry, I have watched a pattern repeat itself so many times it began to grieve me. A believer loses their marriage, and then they start fasting – but God had been nudging them about that relationship for months and they ignored it. A business collapses, and then they cry out for financial breakthrough – but God had given them a clear instruction they set aside. A child goes prodigal, and then the parents declare war on the enemy – but for years, they had been too busy to cover that child in consistent prayer.
I am not saying these people are bad Christians. I am saying they are reactive Christians. And reactive Christianity is exhausting, costly, and completely avoidable.
The truth that burns in every page of this book is this: many of the prayer points dominating believers’ lives were never Heaven’s intention. They were preventable. Not because the enemy is not real, but because God speaks ahead of time, and when we obey early, we cut off battles before they can begin!

Noah did not wait for rain. Job did not wait for his children to sin before he covered them in intercession. Jesus did not wait for betrayal to catch Him off guard – He prayed ahead of it in Gethsemane.
